Recap Fifty-five Days In

From Brussels, we took a July 1 train to Paris (where we continued our run of free hotel nights), hoping to see what Pride festivities the city had to offer. You can look at Charley’s professional quality photos here, but just to summarize, it was a really great time. This was my third time being in the city of Paris, and we wasted no time in being in such an international city: we visited our first Ethiopian restaurant since leaving New York!

After only two days in Paris, we took an early Sunday morning train to Cologne on July 3, doing our best to catch a second consecutive day of Pride festivities. Cologne is an incredible city, worldly and cozy in just the perfect balance, and the most gay-friendly destination in Germany. It was incredible to see the Pride festivities on display. As always, be sure to check out Charley’s pro-quality pictures, but if you want to see a few more of mine, check out the collection here.
